What is Argan Oil?
Argan oil is a rare plant oil extracted from the kernels of the argan plant. Traditionally argan oil has long been used for skin-related diseases, rashes, skin infections or insect bites, while in today's skin care industry, argan oil has become an increasingly popular ingredient in natural skin care products, and often sold as pure argan oil for the face or other skin care uses.
One of the main reasons argan oil has become so popular is because of its perfectly balanced density of the oil. It is not too dense like many other plant oils, though not too light to a point where moisturising effects are minimal.
Argan oil is highly antioxidant and also extremely rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin E, omega-6 fatty acids and linoleic acid. Together these components help to reduce skin inflammation, boost cell regeneration, cell repair and at the same time moisturise the skin.
