Face oils are a popular skin care product often incorporated into skin care routines as they can have many potential benefits. One key purpose of face oils is to provide an extra level of protection to the outer layer of our skins, thereby strengthening it and enabling it to better retain moisture in the skin.
Both our face oils, the Hydration Drops (Argan, Rosehip and Strawberry Seed Oil) and the Restoration Drops (Squalane and Moringa Oil) are non-comedogenic, meaning they do not clog pores and allow the skin to breath, which is good in that it can keep the skin remaining hydrated and does not cause breakouts.
Though our two oils may seem similar, they come with completely different ingredients which target different purposes. The Hydration Drops aims at restoring vitality to the facial skin, boosting cell regeneration, improving skin tone, reducing fine lines and is filled full of antioxidants.
The Restoration Drops aims primarily to repair the skin barrier and restore it to its healthy condition, allowing then improved moisture retention and ultimately healthy hydrated skin. The Restoration Drops comes with premium-grade cold-pressed virgin moringa oil as a key ingredient, while premium-grade bio-processed sugarcane-derived squalane is used in both products.
Squalane plays an important role in protecting the skin and keeping it hydrated, known for its powerful anti-aging properties, collagen boosting and sebum regulating abilities. It is basically a stablised form of squalene, which is a naturally occurring oil in the skin, responsible for hydrating and protecting the skin, is non-comedogenic, lightweight, fast-absorbing and non-greasy.
